you turn around and walk away
im thrown back to yesterday
when you would hold me in your arms
and i believed you would never let go
then i leave and you realize
what you had is gone
and might never come back
then you see eachother again
and memories consume your mind
as you look at eachother
and wish it was yesterday
when we werent broken
and held eachother close
i would close my eyes at night
and wonder how we ended up together
hoped it would never end
then it did and you ignored me
now you look at me like you did
and my heart skips a beat
and smiles grace our faces
as you lean towards me
hesitantly
as if ill break
and brush your lips lightly against mine
as i hold my breath
and wake from this dream

crying on the inside
wondering how

around my wrists
chained to the ceiling
arms above my head and i cry out your name
broken on the inside
bleeding on the out
